About the position

As a Business Development Representative, you'll be the driving force behind MultiPro's growth, connecting with new clients, expanding services, and ensuring a seamless experience. This role is all about impact-identifying opportunities, building relationships, and collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by securing new clients through cold calling, referrals, and cross-selling.
  • Expand services with existing clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships with property managers and key decision-makers.
  • Promote and educate property staff on new service offerings and capabilities for MultiPro and Valet Living.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service execution.
  • Develop proposals, manage bids, coordinate project handoffs, and support the adoption of Annual Price Agreements.
  • Partner with the operations team to establish clear job scope and service protocols, ensuring smooth new community launches.
  • Manage and resolve any client issues or complaints.
  • Represent MultiPro at industry events and trade shows.
  • Travel within your assigned territory (up to 75% of the workweek).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in the services industry (B2B transactional sales experience preferred).
  • Strong track record of securing new clients through cold calling, cross-selling, and referrals.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse clients.
  • Strong ability to assess market data and client needs to drive sales strategies.
  • Ability to manage a pipeline and drive results using CRM tools.
  • Advanced negotiation skills with the ability to motivate and close deals.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms.
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and ethical decision-making.
  • Ability to build rapport, collaborate with others and work with cross-functional teams within the organization.
  • Thrives in dynamic environments with changing priorities and competing demands.
  • Exceptional work ethic, integrity, and accountability.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required, AA degree or higher preferred.
  • Valid driver license and good driving record.
