About the position

The Business/Sales Development Representative (BDR) will join the Growth team to enhance the outbound sales engine by booking qualified meetings with potential customers. This role is pivotal in generating pipeline and driving revenue growth for the company, requiring a proactive and competitive individual who is eager to learn and contribute to the team's success.

Responsibilities

  • Book qualified meetings for account executives with strong-fit accounts via email, cold calling, and social selling.
  • Prospect new companies/contacts that fit the customer profile to book meetings.
  • Identify new opportunities to improve outreach messaging and tactics.
  • Ensure proper handoff of prospects to account executives, equipping them with context and research on the prospect.
  • Become a subject-matter expert on native SaaS integrations.
  • Stay up-to-date on prospects' company news to strike when timing is right.
  • Use CRM (Salesforce) and other tools to manage the end-to-end sales cycle and documentation.
  • Provide weekly reports on sales activities and results to the team.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to understand technical concepts (APIs, integrations, different software).
  • Ability to handle objections from customers and push back.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, hungry, and curious about everything.
  • Hold yourself to a high degree of accountability.
  • Ability to be a sharp shooter independently, while collaborating with a team.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes and the needs of the business.
  • A desire to get into tech and learn and grow in the sales/marketing field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Salesloft, etc.
  • Technical background (computer science/product management degree, familiarity with APIs, software engineering bootcamp).
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $42,000 - $80,000 a year with 60/40 Base/On Target Earnings.
  • 0.01% equity in the company.
  • No cap on earnings for exceeding targets.
