About the position

Citizant is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in producing financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to identify data patterns and trends in available information sources, which will support strategic decision-making across the organization. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting thorough data analysis, extracting relevant information for financial and market analysis, and creating and distributing periodic reports that provide insights into financial and market trends. You will devise innovative methods to identify data patterns and trends, ensuring that the insights generated are actionable and relevant to the business needs. In addition to data analysis, you will utilize data visualization tools to present complex data in an understandable format, facilitating better comprehension among stakeholders. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data used for analysis and reporting is paramount, and you will be expected to recommend and implement improvements to data analysis processes and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Query data repositories to extract relevant information for financial and market analysis.
• Create and distribute periodic reports that provide insights into financial and market trends.
• Devise methods to identify data patterns and trends in available information sources.
• Use data visualization tools to present complex data in an understandable format.
• Work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis and reporting.
• Recommend and implement improvements to data analysis processes and reporting tools.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
