The Business Intelligence Analyst II at First Bank plays a crucial role in managing and securing the bank's data presentation layer. This position involves authoring and overseeing the creation of dashboards, reports, alerts, and BI data models. The analyst will collaborate closely with various Line of Business (LoB) teams to analyze information and ensure that data is captured and communicated accurately and effectively. The primary goal is to utilize data intelligence skills to assess, monitor, and enhance data-driven processes within the bank. Each Business Intelligence Analyst is expected to become an expert in one specific Line of Business, such as Finance, Commercial, Small Business, or Retail, while also cross-training in other areas to ensure a well-rounded understanding of the bank's operations. In this role, the analyst will analyze business requirements and processes, recommending solutions and automations to management for implementation. They will provide end-user support and training on the use of BI tools, primarily Power BI, and assist in managing the Data Team's reporting software system. The analyst will also guide and direct LoB Business Intelligence teams and junior analysts, ensuring that dashboards and reports are developed as required. Continuous improvement of Business Intelligence tools and reporting outcomes is a key focus, with an aim for automation in the majority of dashboard and reporting tasks. The analyst will participate in development planning meetings, set priorities, and monitor the status of various projects. They will work closely with developers to ensure accurate execution of programming requests and validate testing before and after rollouts. Additionally, the analyst will maintain documentation related to design, requirements, and user manuals for reporting, while identifying efficiencies to streamline First Bank's data delivery processes. Compliance with corporate policies, federal and state regulations, and service excellence standards is essential in this role, along with the completion of annual compliance courses and other duties as required.
