About the position

In this position, you'll have the opportunity to engage with business partners to drive business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision makers. Collects, aggregates and analyzes data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance. Uses analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risk and profits of new initiatives. Opportunity to work with a high performing group of analysts continually striving to advance company growth and success. Familiarity with insurance data roles, KPIs, and forecasting would be helpful in understanding our data and picking up the work more easily. Collaborating with coworkers to ensure full knowledge-sharing and updated documentation of each process is a critical role at COUNTRY and one which requires the right combination of self-motivation, problem solving, technical writing, and a comfort level with using data from around the company. The keywords for success in this role are accuracy, completeness, collaboration, workload/time management, and attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns and prepares ongoing reports and data visualizations (e.g., charts, dashboards, heat maps) in order to support business decisions.
  • Designs and produces actionable reports that define, build and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), display root cause analysis, and identify areas of improvement.
  • Synthesizes data to develop actionable insights and recommendations reflecting both an understanding of the data as well as an understanding of the underlying business process(es).
  • Uses visualization, storytelling and prescriptive insights with the data.
  • Designs, develops, tests and launches new data products and dashboards into production.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

  • Familiarity with insurance data roles, KPIs, and forecasting.
