About the position

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic team at Digital Factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights to drive business decisions and strategies. By leveraging advanced analytics tools and techniques, the BI Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency, identifying market trends, and supporting key stakeholders across the organization. This position is an unpaid internship, and multiple positions are available. The BI Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources to uncover insights and trends. They will develop methodologies for data collection and ensure data integrity and accuracy. The role involves designing and producing comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Utilizing BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms, the analyst will create user-friendly and interactive data representations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to understand business objectives and requirements. The BI Analyst will provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes. They will utilize statistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast business outcomes, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks. Additionally, the analyst will develop predictive models to anticipate customer behavior, market trends, and operational performance, while identifying patterns and correlations within datasets through data mining techniques. Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business intelligence and analytics is also a key responsibility of this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role, with a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous internship experience in Finance is a plus, but not required.
  • Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or master's in finance or Business Administration is preferred.
