About the position

PlanetArt is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to support the company's growing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development of cross-functional reports and dashboards that will be utilized by a diverse set of teams across the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of business and marketing data, as well as the ability to create and maintain dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and other analytics to an executive audience. As a BI analyst, collaboration across functions is essential to understand data requirements and assist in designing analytics solutions and strategies that align with business objectives. In this role, you will turn data into actionable insights that will drive PlanetArt's business growth. You will create reports and dashboards to monitor progress on strategic goals across all PlanetArt brands. Additionally, you will develop and maintain databases and data systems, analyze patterns and trends using statistical tools, and extract data from various sources. Preparing management reports on trends and predictions will also be a key responsibility, along with analyzing marketing channel performance and ideating promotional tactics. You will assist in preparing advanced analytics and the design and implementation of machine learning modeling solutions. Working closely with channel and product owners, you will identify key questions, problems, and KPIs, and develop analytical frameworks to enhance understanding of campaign performance. As the in-house business expert on Redshift data across all brands, your insights will be crucial for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Turn data into actionable insights that will drive PlanetArt business growth

  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems
  • Analyze patterns and trends using statistical tools
  • Use tools to extract data from various sources
  • Prepare management reports on trends and predictions
  • Analyze marketing channels performance and drive ideation of promotional tactics
  • Assist with preparing advanced analytics and design and implementation of machine learning modeling solutions
  • Work closely with channel and product owners to identify key questions, problems, KPIs and develop analytical frameworks to drive understanding of campaign performance
  • Be the in-house business expert on Redshift data across all brands

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience required in data analytics
  • Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting
  • Proficiency with SQL is required
  • Knowledge of database systems, data access, and supporting services
  • Experience working with Visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Power BI
  • Experience with analytics, product analytics, or quantitative analysis
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (pivots, lookups, power queries within Excel)
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics or other Digital platforms is a plus
  • Experience with building and deploying ML tools is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-departmentally
  • Bachelor's Degree required
