About the position

DCS Corp is seeking an experienced, motivated, and professional individual to join the F/A-18 & EA18G Advanced Weapons Laboratory Enterprise Data Fusion (EDF) team. This position is integral to the EDF scrum team, which focuses on supporting business application development, testing, and data wrangling/reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with all levels of customers in a dynamic and constantly changing environment, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the process. The role requires a proactive approach to prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality service and support. In this role, you will be responsible for providing no/low code configuration in ServiceNow, conducting process improvement analysis, and supporting data analysis, metrics, and reporting development. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will verify the accuracy of data, reports, dashboards, and applications. Additionally, you will investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve any anomalies that arise in data, reports, dashboards, and applications. Your support will extend across various platforms during the application development process, including testing and validation of applications. The position requires a strong foundation in data analysis and reporting, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team. You will be expected to learn quickly and think creatively to solve problems, contributing to the overall success of the EDF team and its objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with all levels of customers in a constantly changing and dynamic organization.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, early and often.
  • Prioritize tasking and meet deadlines.
  • Provide ServiceNow no/low code configuration.
  • Provide process improvement analysis and support.
  • Provide data analysis, metrics and reporting development support.
  • Verify data and report/dashboard/applications for accuracy with extreme attention to detail.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve anomalies in data, reports, dashboard and applications.
  • Support application development process across platforms with testing.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is REQUIRED and work is on-site.
  • A bachelor's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience is required, or an associate degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma plus 8 years of related experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Follow all policies and procedures governing the secure operation and authorized use of DoD information systems.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, charts, pivot tables, data models).
  • Experience with macros and queries (prefer Microsoft VBA, Python and SQL).
  • Experience with using databases, relational theory, data modeling, data transformation/wrangling.
  • Creating visualizations (Python, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Understanding of data analysis, data science, machine learning and statistics.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow fundamentals and basic configuration.
  • Ability to learn quickly and think outside of the box.
  • Team player with a positive, 'can do' attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), PowerBI and report development.
  • Experience with ServiceNow development.
  • Experience with JavaScript.
  • Experience with process mapping and process improvement efforts.
