About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer at Taylor-Listug, Inc. is responsible for architecting and implementing data and AI solutions that drive strategic insights across all departments. This role involves designing and maintaining data architecture, creating ETL pipelines, developing data warehouse structures, and leveraging AI to enhance data processes. The position requires a blend of technical data engineering and business analytics skills, focusing on translating business needs into automated solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models that support all departments of the business.
• Develop and maintain scalable data warehouse architecture and ETL processes to support analytics needs across the organization.
• Create and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for complex data transformations and analysis.
• Develop Python scripts and applications for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics.
• Lead initiatives to modernize legacy data systems and improve data infrastructure through automation.
• Implement AI solutions using tools like ChatGPT API to automate routine analytics tasks and enhance data processing.
• Design and deploy machine learning models to improve forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide actionable insights for various departments.
• Integrate AI-powered solutions for automated data cleaning and standardization.
• Create automated data quality checks and monitoring systems.
• Continue data governance standards and best practices for data quality, documentation, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate various data sources including ERP, RFID, and other systems.
• Document technical specifications, data lineage, and architectural decisions.
• Develop AI-assisted coding solutions to accelerate development processes.
• Mentor analysts and interns in SQL, Python, and emerging AI tools and technologies.
• Champion data-driven and AI-enhanced decision making across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, finance, engineering, or sciences.
• At least 3+ years of experience in developing and managing BI tools, project management, and strategizing data architecture.
• Advanced experience in SQL and Python.
• Advanced experience using BI tools, preferably Tableau certified.
• Experience working with Syspro (or any ERP) via SQL is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge and experience using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Certification and/or experience working in Continuous Improvement disciplines.
• Experience working with MRP systems is preferred.
• Experience working with RFID production tracking systems is preferred.
• Agile Project Management and/or LEAN or Six Sigma training is a plus.
• Experience in consumer products manufacturing is a plus.
