About the position

As a CBRE Business Intelligence Sr. Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's data-driven decision-making processes. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting advanced research, data mining, and reporting on company performance metrics. This position is integral to the Data Science & Analytics job function, where you will be tasked with reviewing data that supports the improvement of effectiveness and the prediction of outcomes to develop actionable business intelligence. You will generate and review reports using aggregate data from multiple sources, assisting in creating comprehensive evaluations, improvements, or recommendations based on your findings. In this role, you will be expected to review the accuracy of information provided and respond to escalated requests from management and vendors. You will also work with advanced scenario planning tools and models, investigating new trends in general business conditions to identify opportunities for significant improvements for both clients and the company. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and reporting benchmarks and performance metrics, acting as a subject matter expert for key systems and processes, and ensuring that day-to-day functions are executed effectively. Your role will require you to lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values, and impacting the quality of your work and that of your team. You will primarily operate within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines, while also explaining complex information in straightforward terms to others. This position is designed for individuals who possess a broad knowledge of their job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function, allowing for a well-rounded approach to problem-solving and project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and review reports using aggregate data from multiple sources to assist in creating evaluations, improvements, or recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
