About the position

As a CBRE Business Intelligence Sr. Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the Data Science & Analytics job function, focusing on advanced research, data mining, reporting, and interpretation of company performance metrics. Your primary responsibility will be to review and analyze data that supports the improvement of effectiveness and the prediction of outcomes, ultimately contributing to the development of business intelligence strategies. This position requires a keen understanding of data analysis and the ability to generate insights that can drive business decisions. In this role, you will generate and review reports using aggregate data from multiple sources, assisting in creating comprehensive evaluations, improvements, or recommendations. You will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy of the information provided and responding to escalated requests from management and vendors. Your expertise will be essential in understanding and working with advanced scenario planning tools and models, as well as investigating new trends in general business conditions. You will identify opportunities for significant improvements for both clients and the company, collaborating with personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations. As a subject matter expert for key systems and processes, you will oversee the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics. You will apply your general knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. Leading by example, you will model behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values and impact the quality of your work and that of your team. Your ability to explain complex information in straightforward terms will be vital in ensuring clarity and understanding across the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
