About the position

As a CBRE Business Intelligence Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting advanced research, data mining, reporting, and interpretation of company performance metrics. This role is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function, focusing on improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Generate and review reports using aggregate data from multiple sources to assist in creating a complete evaluation, improvement, or recommendation.
• Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to escalated requests from management and vendors.
• Understand and work with advanced scenario planning tools and models.
• Investigate new trends in general business conditions.
• Identify opportunities for large improvements among the clients and company.
• Work with personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations.
• Review the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.
• Act as subject matter expert for key systems and processes and day-to-day functions.
• Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
