Help Duties As a Business Manager for the U.S. Antarctic Program (USAP), you will perform the following duties: * Develop and document all policies and procedures for effective and consistent business management of USAP, ensuring they are in alignment with National Science Foundation (NSF) policies and procedures. * Serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC). * Oversee the completion of audit remediation activities for prior year NSF Office of Inspector General (OIG) audits. * Provide audit management for ongoing Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) and financial audits. * Review reports in areas related to business processes and OIG audits to recommend corrective actions that are considered authoritative and serves an expert in the field. * Ensure appropriate integration between the Office of Polar Programs (OPP) financial oversight support contractor and the ASC in activities related to the financial statement audit. * Provide day-to-day supervision of subordinate staff including workload distribution and prioritization, performance evaluation, identifying developmental/training needs, developing performance standards, etc. Help Requirements Conditions of Employment * You must be a US citizen. * Selectee will be required to have a background investigation prior to onboarding. * Selectee may be required to serve a 1-year trial/probationary period. * Selectee may be required to serve a 1-year supervisory probationary period.
