About the position

The Business Office Manager at Meridian Senior Living is responsible for overseeing the office functions within the community, including managing accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, payroll, and maintaining resident and employee files. This role also involves providing assistance to the Executive Director and ensuring efficient office operations to support the overall mission of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage office functions including accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, and payroll.
  • Maintain resident and employee files for the community.
  • Provide assistance to the Executive Director as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Meridian Policies and Procedures, Mission Statement, Core Values, and Founding Principles.
  • Manage multiple priorities and establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff.

Requirements

  • Experience as an office manager in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Two-year degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Office is required.
  • Experience with Yardi, DSSI, or any accounting software preferred.
  • Solid mathematical skills and strong organizational skills are essential.
  • High level of effective communication skills, both written and oral.
