About The Position

This position offers an opportunity to join one of the largest alternative asset managers, focusing on technology as a core aspect of the business strategy. The role involves working within C# Software Engineering teams to develop and enhance solutions in critical areas such as order management, trade settlement, risk management, fund accounting, and client reporting. Engineers will follow the 'you build it, you run it' principle, ensuring they are involved in the entire lifecycle of the software they create.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong delivery-focused approach to ensure business value is met.
• Experience in query writing, schema design, and performance tuning in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Ability to balance business delivery with the adoption of new architectural features.
• Proponent of collaborative software engineering techniques and methods.
• Confident communicator, able to articulate points concisely.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Kafka, Mongo, React, Python.

Responsibilities

• Owning the end-to-end delivery process from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Participating in the planning, design, and delivery of long-term projects.
• Conducting code reviews and sharing knowledge among peers.
• Engaging with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Continuously improving production components by reducing tech debt and increasing release quality.
• Supporting production systems and handling BAU requests.
• Mentoring junior team members, depending on seniority.
