About The Position

Surface Experts is seeking a dedicated field technician to join our growing local team. Our mission is to develop outstanding teams by investing in strong relationships, and we aim to solve our customers' problems by reducing waste in time, money, and materials that end up in landfills. As a national franchise, we are focused on establishing a recognized market for surface repair as an alternative to replacement or complete refinishing. We work with various cabinet materials, and our work is detail-oriented, making a background in cabinetry or carpentry highly beneficial.

Requirements

• Experience in cabinetry or carpentry.
• Hands-on experience in construction, manufacturing, or related hobbies.
• Ability to understand and match colors; color blindness is a disqualifier.
• Willingness to commit to at least a 2-year training process.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in facilities maintenance.
• Art background or experience in color matching.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface repairs on various materials including floors, countertops, bathtubs, cabinets, and appliances.
• Utilize tools and equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment on job sites.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Commit to project timelines and ensure quality of work.
