About the position

As the Cabinet Shop Manager at G Little Inc, you will play a pivotal role in our small-town custom shop, which has built a stellar reputation over the past three decades for crafting high-quality cabinetry, furniture, and millwork. Our team is composed of seasoned craftsmen who are not only skilled but also passionate about their work. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring that our clients' visions are transformed into tangible, functional designs. This position requires a blend of artistic design skills and practical production management, making it essential for you to have a strong background in both areas. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, utilizing your expertise in wood species and shop equipment to guide them through the design process. Your proficiency in CAD programs, particularly Graphite 2D/3D CAD, will be crucial in creating detailed designs and cut sheets for production. You will also be tasked with estimating material and labor costs, managing cabinet sales, and maintaining strong client relations. Your ability to solve problems on the job site and oversee the production process from start to finish will be key to ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. We pride ourselves on providing steady year-round work, and as part of our team, you will benefit from a supportive administrative staff and a well-equipped workspace.
