About The Position

The Installation Technician position at DIRECTV involves dispatching and servicing customers in the Bozeman, MT area. Requirements

• Valid state driver's license, commercial license, or chauffeur's license appropriate for the vehicle driven.
• Satisfactory driving record check.
• Ability to work day, evening, or night shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Willingness to travel for out-of-area work, which may include overnight stays.
• Ability to pass drug testing as mandated by state and federal requirements.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 80 pounds and performing work in uncomfortable positions.

• Experience in customer service or technical support roles.
• Familiarity with satellite or telecommunications equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and service customer satellite equipment both indoors and outdoors.
• Educate customers on the features and functionality of services provided.
• Verify all services are operational and demonstrate them to customers.
• Perform installations in various environments including attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
• Use a company PC to retrieve and complete orders.
• Work outside in all weather conditions while adhering to safety practices.
• Drive a company vehicle to various work locations.
