About the position

As a CBRE CAD Designer, you will be responsible for designing and preparing electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for small to medium-scale projects. This hybrid role involves working approximately three days onsite in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, and two days from home, allowing for flexibility while contributing to the company's client-centric approach to integrated real estate solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare prints of various original plans and records for internal and external agency use.
  • Review updated drawings for changes using computer-aided drafting techniques.
  • Gather data to complete drawings by visiting the site directly.
  • Conduct surveys of space and prepare detailed reports.
  • Assist with the development of maps and drawings that are spatially accurate and technically correct.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external partners to acquire project details, including equipment, materials, and codes.
  • Collect on-site information and input it into the database to maintain current building conditions and data.
  • Model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values and impact the quality of own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • AutoCAD 2018 or newer version required.
  • Knowledge of CAD standards 'AIA & ISA' preferred.
  • Understanding of Arch/MEP drawings and systems preferred.
  • General Revit knowledge nice to have; not required.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.

Nice-to-haves

  • General Revit knowledge.
