About the position

At Spectrum, we are looking for Bilingual Spanish Call Center Sales Representatives who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service while maximizing sales opportunities. Our agents earn an hourly base pay of $18.00, with the potential to earn lucrative commissions and incentives, leading to target hourly earnings of $26.19 or an annual salary of $54,471. Top performers can earn up to $81,000 annually, plus additional incentives. As part of our commitment to our employees, you may also qualify for free internet, TV, and phone services, subject to certain restrictions. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively answering and handling inbound sales calls to acquire new customers and solicit existing customers for additional products and services. You will actively support efforts to enhance the customer experience, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, professionalism, and courtesy during all sales transactions. Meeting or exceeding weekly and monthly sales activity goals is essential, and you will utilize sound telephone-based selling techniques to achieve this. You will respond promptly and efficiently to inbound sales calls, adhering to required call handling metrics, including productive time and after-call work. Your ability to sell products and services effectively will be crucial, as you will maximize additional revenue from existing customers through upselling and cross-selling opportunities. A thorough understanding of our products and services, as well as competitors' offerings, will enable you to provide side-by-side comparisons and promote current marketing campaigns and promotions. Collaboration with other departments may be necessary to resolve customer issues, and you will perform other duties as required by your supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales opportunities by effectively answering and handling inbound sales calls.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction during all sales transactions.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales activity goals using effective selling techniques.
  • Respond to inbound sales calls promptly and efficiently, adhering to call handling metrics.
  • Sell products and services to prospective customers and maximize revenue from existing customers.
  • Identify and maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Learn and master the order processing billing system related to sales order entry and inquiries.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in explaining all products and services to customers.
  • Acquire knowledge of competitors' pricing and products for effective comparisons.
  • Promote and communicate current marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Work with other departments to resolve customer issues as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of cable communications products and services including video, data, and voice.
  • Ability to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingual: Spanish Required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
