About The Position

The worker operates various light equipment and performs general laboring tasks under the supervision of a Caltrans Maintenance Supervisor or a Landscape Maintenance Leadworker.

Requirements

• Eligibility for hire may be determined by the score on the Caltrans Landscape Maintenance Worker exam.
• Must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions if new to state civil services employment.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and strong winds.
