Under the direction of the Camp Director, the Camp Office Administrator & Extended Care Coordinator oversees the camp office and extended care program.
Responsibilities
Work closely with SJCC Account Services Manager to assist with camper enrollment, including but not limited to late registrations, charges and cancellations.
Manage, review, and track transportation and attendance changes.
Track enrollment and communicate with waitlisted families as spaces become available.
Answer calls, listen to voicemails and distribute messages.
Respond to emails sent to camp@sjcc.org in a timely manner. Forward and/or share messages with other Camp Leadership Team members as needed.
Print necessary information needed for group clipboards each week, including medical/allergy info, camper rosters, schedules and arrival/dismissal info.
Ensure camper forms are received and reviewed before campers attend camp. Contact families with overdue forms.
Ensure camper shirts are sorted and delivered to new campers each Monday.
Work with the Coordinators to order, organize, store and regularly inventory supplies/equipment.
Track swim test results in collaboration with the Aquatics team.
Immediately inform Camp Director of any concerns that arise with campers, staff, parents/guardians, and community members.
Actively supervise Extended Care Counselors during Extended Care and provide constructive feedback to staff.
Lead weekly staff meetings for Extended Care Counselors.
Ensure the safety, health and welfare of campers and staff by providing a safe camp environment and immediately and appropriately responding to any incidents, illnesses or situations that arise.
Support the emotional and social wellbeing of campers through positive behavior management, supportive interactions and conflict resolution.
Review health forms and share pertinent information about campers with the appropriate staff, while ensuring confidentiality is maintained.
Communicate regularly with the Camp Director and other members of the Camp Leadership Team. Share recommendations with the Camp Director on an ongoing basis.
Act as a positive ambassador of the SJCC both inside and outside of the SJCC.
Follow all emergency procedures at the SJCC.
Perform work on weekends and evenings as needed to meet applicable deadlines or scheduling needs.

Washington State Pay Range: $21.50 - $22.50/hr
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including but not limited to, skills, relevant experience, and specific work location.
