About the position

Chamberlain University is seeking a Campus Director who will report to the Regional Director of Enrollment. This role is responsible for overseeing student enrollment activities and other critical operational functions for specific campus locations. The Campus Director will manage recruitment, training, and supervision of the enrollment team while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures and driving enrollment growth. The position operates in a hybrid work model with three in-office days and two remote days per week, transitioning to a four-day in-office schedule starting Q1 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Observes, coaches, trains, develops, and utilizes all tools and documentation in support of performance excellence.
  • Leads by example and employs best in-class people management principles to develop individuals and high-performing teams.
  • Assists in the development, direction, and coordination of student enrollment activities within their location(s).
  • Delegates responsibilities as needed while actively participating in the recruitment and enrollment of new prospective students.
  • Exercises managerial duties, including planning, assigning, and directing the work of subordinates, evaluating performance, reviewing interactions with prospective students, administering rewards and disciplinary actions, and addressing and resolving employee concerns.
  • Assesses daily activities within their team, implements enrollment strategies to ensure that inquiry conversions and new student conversions align with program expectations.
  • Recruits and selects new staff, conducts interviews with prospects and obtains approval from the Regional Director of Enrollment for hiring decisions.
  • Addresses complex enrollment questions and challenges, demonstrating a solution-oriented approach.
  • Applies TEACH Values in the completion of all job assignments.
  • Adheres to laws and regulations governing student enrollment activities as well as Adtalem Global Education Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 4+ years enrollment or relevant experience.
  • 4+ years relevant management experience.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and to be a self-starter.
  • Mission driven, capable of quickly building rapport and inspiring trust, naturally effective when interacting with a wide variety of people in individual and group environments.
  • Hybrid environment 60% in office and willingness to travel as needed, ability to work remotely as necessary.
