Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of all university buildings to verify square footage.
- Accurately count and document the number of fixtures in the bathrooms of each building.
- Identify and record the types of flooring materials used throughout the campus.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to update and maintain accurate records of the campus facilities.
- Assist in identifying any maintenance or repair needs observed during audits.
- Utilize spreadsheets and Microsoft Office to organize and analyze data collected during audits.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to the appropriate departments for further action.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with university staff, faculty, and students.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Practical organizational skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the facilities management team.
- Analytical skills and adaptability for various building environments.
- Professionalism and excellent customer service.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree with a preference for previous experience in building audits or related roles.
