Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough audits of all university buildings to verify square footage.
  • Accurately count and document the number of fixtures in the bathrooms of each building.
  • Identify and record the types of flooring materials used throughout the campus.
  • Collaborate with the facilities management team to update and maintain accurate records of the campus facilities.
  • Assist in identifying any maintenance or repair needs observed during audits.
  • Utilize spreadsheets and Microsoft Office to organize and analyze data collected during audits.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to the appropriate departments for further action.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with university staff, faculty, and students.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Practical organizational skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the facilities management team.
  • Analytical skills and adaptability for various building environments.
  • Professionalism and excellent customer service.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree with a preference for previous experience in building audits or related roles.
