About the position

The position is for a Camunda BPMN/Developer, which is a fully remote role focused on a government project requiring US citizenship. Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government background check (Public Trust Level) and must meet eligibility requirements.

Work and collaborate remotely with Architects and Subject Matter Experts (SME).
Be self-directed and work independently.
Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner to implement robust solutions.
Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and workflows.

Requirements

B.S. degree in Computer Science or a similar relevant technical field.
6+ years of relevant experience for a senior level developer, 3-6 years for a mid-level developer, and 1-2 years for a junior level developer.
Experience with BPMN/orchestration/process automation.

Nice-to-haves

Design, development, testing, deploying, and debugging Camunda 7 and 8 applications (or similar technology).
Configuring a Camunda environment.
Working with Microservices architecture using Camunda BPMN.
Experience with enterprise messaging systems (EMS, Kafka) and in-memory databases.
Working with traditional relational or document databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases.
Experience working with version control tools (GIT, Bitbucket).
Working knowledge of Agile methodology.
Knowledge with migrating legacy BPM processes and rules to the latest version of Camunda.
Experience with Java and Java web frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
Experience of integrating Camunda with other applications via REST APIs.
Experience leading and/or mentoring junior developers.
Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud databases, CI/CD, serverless computing.
Experience with other programming languages such as JavaScript, VB/C#, Python, Ruby, .Net.
Experience with a modern front-end framework (Angular, VueJS, React).
Experience with Automated API testing using tools such as JBehave, cucumber, or Selenium.
