About the position

All Washed Up Auto Spa is seeking a highly motivated and well-rounded individual to serve as the Store/Facility Manager for our new Express Car Wash location in Munhall, PA. This position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $40,000 to $50,000, with the potential for monthly bonuses that can total up to $12,000 per year. As a key player in the fast-growing $9 billion US Car Wash industry, you will receive specialized industrial training to operate, maintain, and repair equipment from leading manufacturers such as Sonny's Car Wash Factory, Simoniz Chemicals, and Hydraflex. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the car wash, ensuring that we provide clean, shiny, and dry cars for our customers. This includes overseeing a team that consists of an assistant manager, a lead attendant, and 2 to 4 part-time attendants. You will be tasked with providing excellent customer service, performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on car wash equipment, and generating financial and inventory reports to track site performance. The ideal candidate will have a moderate level of technical aptitude, a basic understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to learn and utilize various computer-based programs. You will also be responsible for scheduling and performing preventative maintenance on various systems, overseeing major equipment repairs, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the facility. Additionally, you will communicate with the Operations Manager regarding maintenance issues and employee performance, complete financial tracking reports, and manage inventory effectively. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, as the car wash operates from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week, including holidays. You will have the freedom to build your own schedule but must be available to work 45+ hours per week, including weekends and holidays, and be on call to respond to employee needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team consisting of a Full Time assistant manager, Full Time Lead Attendant, and 2 to 4 part time attendants.
  • Oversee team workload, productivity, scheduling, hiring, and firing.
  • Assist customers with any issues that may arise.
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on car wash equipment, HVAC, water purification and reclaim systems, vacuums, and vending equipment.
  • Schedule and oversee major equipment repairs with the maintenance team.
  • Oversee the completion of scheduled washing and cleaning of the car wash tunnel, equipment rooms, exterior, parking lot, and vacuum areas.
  • Oversee the upkeep of landscaping and general appearance of the property.
  • Communicate issues and provide feedback to the Operations Manager regarding maintenance issues and employee performance.
  • Complete financial tracking reports and perform cash deposits to a local bank.
  • Maintain fully stocked inventory and be accountable for all aspects of assigned inventory; assist in monitoring and control of maintenance inventory.
  • Requisition parts necessary to keep the wash operating at 100%.
  • Attend and participate in all work-related meetings, scheduled inventories, and training classes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Moderate level of technical aptitude is required.
  • Understanding of basic accounting/mathematics principles.
  • Able to learn, understand, and use a wide range of computer-based programs.
