About the position

The Card Dispute Specialist at Robins Financial Credit Union is responsible for processing debit and credit card disputes in compliance with Visa regulations, ensuring timely reimbursement for the credit union. This role involves maintaining dispute general ledgers, overseeing card edits, and delivering high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Process debit & credit card disputes according to Visa rules and regulations.
  • Balance and maintain dispute general ledgers (GLs).
  • Ensure all cases are worked in accordance with deadlines.
  • Maintain Corporate Visa Accounts and log in conjunction with the Executive Office.
  • Oversee the processing of card edits to ensure correct orders are transmitted to the vendor.
  • Work on daily & monthly reports related to job duties.
  • Deliver high-quality service to Member Service areas with timely and professional responses.
  • Perform additional departmental tasks as assigned by the Card Services Manager.
  • Demonstrate teamwork by contributing to team effort, showing initiative, and maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience in a financial institution.
  • Strong customer service skills (both oral and written).
  • Basic accounting skills.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and Visa operating rules.

Nice-to-haves

  • Card network experience.
  • Visa chargeback online courses (to be completed within 60 days of hire).
