About the position
Griswold Home Care in Las Vegas, NV is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as part-time Caregivers. This role is essential in providing non-medical elderly care and companionship to seniors, allowing them to maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours, assisting clients who may require care for as little as 4 hours or up to 24 hours a day. Your responsibilities will include helping with daily tasks such as laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and personal hygiene. You will also provide companionship to clients, including those with dementia or cognitive impairments, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical elderly care and companionship to seniors.
- Assist clients with daily tasks such as laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
- Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene, including bathing and feeding.
- Provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments.
- Complete documentation for each shift and submit timely updates.
- Communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of clients.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- TB clearance.
- Eligibility to work in the US.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2+ years of home care experience preferred, but not required; caring for a loved one counts.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in caregiving or home care settings.
- Certification in CPR or first aid.
