About the position

King's Staffing serves as a career pathway for individuals interested in the Human Services industry. As an Employee of Kings Staffing, you will serve as an Enrollment Broker, enrolling residents that live in your assigned area into Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS). This role requires a commitment to travel throughout your assigned area to visit cases, necessitating a registered vehicle and a valid driver's license. The Enrollment Broker will primarily work in applicants' places of residence, conducting intake visits for waiver applicants and facilitating the eligibility determination process. This includes providing assistance from the time individuals are identified as potential participants in an HCBS program until they are either enrolled or terminated from the intake process. In this position, you will present and discuss the concept of the waiver programs, advising applicants of their rights and responsibilities. You will assist with application submissions, including data entry of application information into the Health Care Support Information System (HCSIS), and help applicants investigate Medicaid eligibility as needed. Additionally, you will assist applicants in selecting Supports Coordinators that best meet their needs, ensuring consumer control is maintained throughout the application process. You will also consult with the Enrollment Nurse for more complex cases and initiate the development of the Individual Service Plan, obtaining Department approval as necessary. Building relationships with community-based organizations, advocates, and stakeholders is crucial to gather feedback on improving the application process and removing barriers to enrolling in HCBS waiver programs. You will foster and maintain relationships with parties serving mutual consumers, including physicians, County Assistance Offices, providers, nursing homes, and rehabilitation facilities. The role also involves ensuring the efficiency of the application process, providing extra attention and support to stalled cases, and reporting on schedule availability at regular intervals. Other duties may be assigned by management as needed.
