About the position

The Cash Management Operations Manager at LPL Financial is responsible for leading a team and overseeing cash management processes to ensure quality and compliance with risk and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing move money activities, providing support and development for team members, and driving a culture of performance management and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a background in banking or broker-dealer operations and will play a key role in enhancing operational excellence and client experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash management processes including Wires, ACHs, Check Disbursements, and Check Deposits.
• Provide ongoing support, coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities to team members.
• Drive a performance management culture to ensure associates meet organizational goals.
• Support the creation, modification, implementation, and oversight of controls and risk mitigation strategies.
• Foster a team culture of continuous improvement by identifying better ways to perform tasks.
• Interpret regulatory rule modifications and understand business needs of LPL and its advisors.
• Deliver exceptional advisor and client experiences through operational excellence.
• Create and maintain partnerships across the organization to meet shared objectives.
• Handle escalations and inquiries from Service partners, Advisors, and key business partners.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred or prior supervisory experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience required.
• Experience with regulations and rules pertaining to Retirement account contributions and distributions.
• SIE and Series 7 or 99 license or ability to acquire.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Lean Problem Solving and other Lean methodologies.
• Proficient technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft applications.
