About the position

The Cat Boarding Animal Care Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality care for cats in a boarding facility. This role involves cleaning, feeding, and maintaining the boarding area while ensuring the safety and well-being of the animals. The position requires a motivated individual who enjoys working with cats and can perform tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality animal care during the morning shift.
• Clean and maintain all parts of the cat boarding area.
• Handle and move cats safely and professionally during check-in, check-out, and cleaning processes.
• Feed cats as directed and maintain litter boxes.
• Wash dishes, bedding, and perform other assigned cleaning duties.
• Take photos for social media and client communication.
• Prepare food and medication for the cats.
• Rotate kitty playtime.

Requirements

• Must love cats, including those with sassy personalities.
• Enjoy cleaning and organization.
• Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision after training.
• Comfortable handling cats in a safe and professional manner.
