About the position

The CBH Ambassador position at USU Blanding involves assisting the Head Rodeo Coach in developing a new intercollegiate rodeo program. This part-time role focuses on various administrative and operational tasks to support the Rodeo Team, including recruitment, management of rodeo grounds, and clerical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Rodeo Coach with day-to-day functions of the rodeo program.
• Help with the development, organization, supervision, travel, and management of the Rodeo Team.
• Recruit student athletes for the rodeo program.
• Monitor and maintain rodeo grounds.
• Perform clerical duties for Rodeo members.

Requirements

• Current student or an associate's degree or a combination of education and experience.
• Physical ability to ride and perform physical tasks associated with rodeo and equine activities.
• Experience managing and caring for horses and livestock.
• Valid driver's license to perform essential job responsibilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
• Trustworthy and able to maintain confidential information.
• Strong organizational skills to balance multiple projects and changing priorities.
