About the position

The Central Support Operations Coordinator I at UnitedHealth Group plays a crucial role in managing communication and data processing to support the naviHealth product. This position focuses on facilitating care transitions for patients, particularly older adults, by ensuring accurate information flow between healthcare providers and the naviHealth team. The role requires effective communication, data entry, and administrative documentation to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound telephone communication professionally according to productivity and quality standards.
  • Process inbound and outbound data and communication (faxes, emails, electronic communication) according to productivity and quality standards.
  • Enter, review, and verify member information in the nH Coordinate care management platform and communicate pertinent information with healthcare providers and/or naviHealth team as needed.
  • Accurately enter required data into the naviHealth database in a timely manner.
  • Complete administrative documentation for member records including disenrollment, transitioning, creating authorization shells, and logging therapy information.
  • Assist in coordinating members' care between health providers and the health plan.
  • Establish relationships and communicate with providers, clients, and/or naviHealth field/care management staff as defined by departmental policy.
  • Triage inbound calls, manage member inquiries/requests, and resolve or escalate to appropriate personnel.
  • Run and review reports to monitor assigned team duties completion.
  • Follow the chain of command when reporting issues or concerns.
  • Attend naviHealth meetings as requested.
  • Adhere to organizational, departmental, compliance, and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Promote a positive attitude and work environment.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience working in a call center environment.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during normal business hours of 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST, including occasional overtime.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA laws.
