About The Position

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Engagement Advocates within the CES Department. This role involves leading a team to enhance community awareness of MCC programs and services through outreach, program enrollment, and resource provision. The position requires in-person community engagement and flexibility in working hours to meet departmental needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience providing direct services in a community outreach setting.
• Experience working with maternal and child health issues is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MCC's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and CES policies to ensure compliance with agency standards.
• Perform quality assurance activities including monitoring community outreach and processing referrals using MCC data management systems.
• Complete department reports as required by agency or funder requirements.
• Identify community needs based on trends and referral requests.
• Meet regularly with the supervisor to report on work progress.
• Develop and implement outreach plans to support agency goals.
• Coordinate and attend outreach events, provider meetings, and health fairs.
• Conduct health promotion activities by disseminating educational materials and disease prevention resources.
• Create and maintain an inclusive and supportive work environment.
• Provide bi-weekly reflective supervision to Community Engagement Advocates.
• Facilitate monthly team meetings and conduct performance evaluations.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise up to seven staff members.
