About the position

The position at Bank of America involves managing centralized functions and driving strategic initiatives across the business. The role is responsible for influencing global strategy, building strong relationships with clients, regulators, and business partners, and overseeing various financial processes. The individual will lead talent management and development while supporting various IPV processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage centralized functions and drive strategic initiatives across the business.
  • Influence global strategy and build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and business partners.
  • Coordinate and assign responsibilities to team members and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Lead talent management and development initiatives.
  • Support and manage various IPV processes, including calculation and reporting of variances and valuation uncertainty ranges.
  • Perform oversight across P&L reporting and balance sheet processes, including substantiation and flux analysis.
  • Facilitate ad-hoc and audit requests in collaboration with the team.
  • Oversee month-end closing processes and reconciliations, and review quarterly accounting disclosures.
  • Support and lead various strategic initiatives across Corporate Performance Management (CPM) while optimizing processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or related work experience.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial accounting and financial analysis.
  • Experience in financial processing and business acumen.
  • Ability to perform business analytics and consulting.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong reporting and influence capabilities.
  • Effective prioritization skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience across product/valuation control including independent price verification.
  • Knowledge of risk-weighted assets, treasury, financial control, and audit is a plus.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
