About the position

We are looking for a rockstar Channel SDR to join an unmatched team! Drata is one of the fastest-growing B2B SaaS startups to achieve unicorn status, leading the way in security and compliance automation. As a Channel SDR, you will be a key player in expanding our partner ecosystem by identifying and engaging potential resellers, MSSPs, and referral partners. This is an exciting opportunity for an SDR to be a part of an inclusive team, and experience tremendous career growth. Must be located in San Diego. This is a hybrid role and you are required to be in the San Diego office three days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Research potential channel partners, identify key players, and generate interest through cold outreach (calls, emails, and social selling).
  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage a pipeline of prospective partners.
  • Discover new partnership opportunities through internet research, LinkedIn Navigator, and industry networking.
  • Utilize active listening skills to understand partner needs and communicate how Drata’s platform can drive value.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly metrics, including meetings booked, qualified opportunities, and new contacts added.
  • Accurately track partner interactions and maintain data integrity in Salesforce.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while staying highly organized, optimistic, and coachable.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales development associate or inside sales role; sales experience in the SaaS space is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in past roles and experiences.
  • Intensely curious and able to rapidly absorb and integrate new concepts and technologies.
  • Driven, self-motivated, and a self-starter who takes pride in results.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a people-oriented approach.
  • Mission-driven with a desire to make a positive impact.
  • Confident in skills but open to feedback and improvement.
