About the position

The Graduate Rotational Opportunities at Westlake (GROW) is a leadership development program designed for newly graduated chemical engineering students. This 3-5 year rotational program allows participants to explore various aspects of the Performance and Essential Materials business segment at Westlake Corporation. Participants will gain on-the-job experience, receive leadership and technical training, and work on projects that enhance their problem-solving skills in a supportive environment focused on improving lives through innovative products.

Responsibilities

• Work in various roles under the guidance of a mentor assigned to your area of focus.
• Handle projects designed to develop leadership skills and encourage creative solutions.
• Deliver breakthrough solutions and monitor improvements to current processes for cost savings and efficiency.
• Continuously strive for the highest level of performance with a safety mindset.
• Add value for customers through innovative engineering solutions.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Willingness to rotate to different US locations every 12-18 months for a total of 3-5 years
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker's Identification Card (TWIC)
• Strong team building, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills.
