Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily and weekly production and maintenance meetings to support plant operations and collaborate with engineers and staff.
  • Analyze data and conduct audits to identify trends to make recommendations to improve plant operations.
  • Complete cross-functional projects, such as production, maintenance, or quality, to support production goals and gain comprehensive knowledge of cement operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment.
  • Create process flow diagrams, presentations, and recommend process optimizations to engineering leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn industry specific software.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Willingness to frequently travel to cement plants across North America during the training program and/or relocate for future assignments.
