In addition to problem-solving, the Chemical Production Engineer will develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily instructions, and other written communications that are essential for maintaining operational efficiency. The role also includes conducting Process Hazards Analyses (PHA) to ensure safety and compliance within the manufacturing environment. The engineer will work closely with a multicultural team of over 4,000 employees across four regions, contributing to a global mission of creating sustainable and high-quality coatings that protect various surfaces and products. Responsibilities

  • Detect problems and situations that require deviation from normal procedures and implement corrective actions.
  • Interpret and/or analyze data, and draw conclusions based on the data.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures, daily instructions and other written communications.
  • Interpret and/or analyze data, and draw conclusions based on the data, including standard operating conditions as well as historical and trended data.
  • Conduct Process Hazards Analyses (PHA).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in chemical manufacturing or petrol/refinement.
  • Batch/Semi continuous operation with distillation experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or 10 years' experience in a chemical plant environment.
