About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial strategy and operations of a dynamic and expanding healthcare non-profit organization. This role is pivotal in driving growth and efficiency while collaborating closely with top executives to ensure the organization's financial health and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Directing and preparing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
• Overseeing investment of funds and working with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
• Preparing financial projections and accounting services, growth plans, and directing staff.
• Developing organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, and analysis.
• Assisting with recruiting new staff members.
• Collaborating with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Chief Operating Officer (COO) to develop strategic plans.
• Analyzing financial reports to identify ways to reduce costs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience in accounting and financial management practices.
• Experience in a senior management position.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Extensive experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues.
