About the position

The Chief of Staff Marketing will play a pivotal role in driving strategic alignment and operational effectiveness within the marketing organization of a high-growth technology company. This position involves collaborating with the Marketing Leadership Team to set strategies, execute annual plans, and enhance organizational structure and processes. The Chief of Staff will also facilitate internal communications, manage executive business reviews, and oversee performance reporting, ensuring that the marketing team meets its objectives and aligns with broader organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive alignment around setting strategy, drafting Quarterly Business Reports, and finalizing and executing on the 2025 annual plan.
  • Help build a successful and healthy organization by reviewing, designing, and executing improvements to org structure.
  • Identify knowledge and skills gaps and help address them, design optimal workflows, and align internal processes.
  • Drive the priorities of the Marketing Leadership Team through weekly meetings and shaping offsites.
  • Identify opportunities to increase leadership team effectiveness.
  • Drive executive business reviews in partnership with the Chief of Staff to the CEO.
  • Communicate priorities, activities, and results to the larger organization, ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Maintain a strong pulse and feedback loop on organizational needs.
  • Facilitate internal communications within the Marketing team and the broader organization.
  • Identify and take on ad-hoc strategic projects, from defining new opportunities to executing key initiatives.
  • Drive and monitor OKRs and KPIs and executive performance reporting for the organization.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-departmental executives and staff to execute key deliverables and initiatives.
  • Work with Finance, People, and other cross-functional teams to drive employee satisfaction, recruiting efficiency, headcount allocation, training, facilities, and budget management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in planning & process, strategic and/or financial planning, organizational change, communications & strategy execution.
  • M.B.A. or related advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience in or fluency with the Marketing function at a high-growth technology company preferred.
  • Proven ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success.
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form; ability to work well with executives.
  • Ability to lead, facilitate, and influence across multiple levels and functions of an organization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity.
  • Proven experience designing and leading strategic planning at a hyper-growth company.
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of busy executives and their direct staff.

  • Competitive pay range of $107.97/hr to $112.97/hr
