Chief of Staff to the CTO (Machine Learning)

About the position

Lila Sciences is seeking a strategic and operationally astute Chief of Staff to support our Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This key role requires a background in AI/ML technologies and involves partnering with the CTO to drive strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the CTO to plan and execute strategic initiatives that align with Lila Sciences' objectives.
• Enhance operational efficiencies by implementing and refining processes that support the technology function.
• Provide oversight and support for major technical projects, ensuring resources are appropriately allocated.
• Foster communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
• Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership.
• Keep the CTO informed of emerging technology trends and competitive landscape changes.
• Work with HR and technology leaders to cultivate a culture of innovation, agility, and excellence.
• Organize and manage key meetings and offsite events.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a strategic leadership or project management role within a tech-focused organization.
• Familiarity with AI/ML application lifecycles, including deployment and integration.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the technology sector is desirable.
