The Chief of Staff at Boys & Girls Club of Silicon Valley plays a pivotal role in supporting the leadership team to drive the organization's mission of providing equitable access to social, academic, and career opportunities for youth. This full-time position is ideal for a strategic thinker and skilled project manager who excels at building collaboration and trust within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and Board to manage critical initiatives and drive organizational goals.
• Lead cross-functional projects that align with the strategic vision of the organization.
• Ensure adherence to non-profit requirements and contribute to the management framework.
• Work closely with organization leaders to set strategic priorities and establish metrics for success.
• Serve as a key partner with the CEO to the BGCSV Board of Directors, focusing on board recruitment and engagement.
• Manage a portfolio of long-term, cross-organizational projects to drive organizational goals.
• Prepare deliverables, including presentations and internal communications for the CEO and senior leaders.

Requirements

• At least four years of translatable leadership management experience.
• Demonstrated record of inclusive and participative leadership as a collaborative team player.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/assignments and deadlines.
• Proven experience as a chief of staff or in a similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or public sector.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and provide innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including executive leadership and board members.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is a plus.
