About the position

The Chief of Staff (CoS) at Momentus Capital serves as a strategic partner to the CEO, managing relationships and driving progress towards organizational goals. This high-visibility role involves stakeholder engagement, project management, and advising the CEO on key matters. The CoS will oversee various initiatives, ensuring they are completed effectively while supporting the CEO in decision-making and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the CEO's Executive Assistant and manage resources related to policy and special projects.
  • Lead large, cross-functional organization-wide projects ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Scope, plan, and execute multiple quick-turnaround projects with minimal assistance.
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and other executives, ensuring consistent communication.
  • Represent the CEO in internal and external meetings, independently and with the executive team.
  • Partner with the Communications team to develop a cohesive CEO communications plan.
  • Build and run cadence for leadership meetings, ensuring key decisions are documented and followed up on.
  • Prepare the CEO for meetings with briefing memos and verbal prep sessions.
  • Oversee the growth and performance of the Executive Assistant to the CEO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in operational roles, with at least 2 years in a similar position or 9 years in lieu of a degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Financial services experience is highly desired.
  • Strong strategic thinking and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Experience in leading and managing organizational change.
  • Strong analytical, operational, and execution skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Familiarity with policy development and advocacy.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $124,147 - $165,736 with eligibility for an annual incentive.
