About the position

We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and exceptionally proactive Chief of Staff to partner directly with our CEO and executive leadership team. This role demands someone who takes initiative and operates with a 'day 1' mindset, driving key initiatives and ensuring seamless operations. The Chief of Staff will act as a force multiplier, facilitating effective communication and problem-solving across the organization. This role requires an entrepreneurial mentality, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate with discretion and influence.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor and proactive thought partner to the CEO, providing strategic insights and support on critical business decisions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the company's strategic plan, ensuring alignment across departments, and taking ownership of critical milestones.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic initiatives and identify potential opportunities and risks proactively.
  • Manage and prioritize the CEO's time and schedule, ensuring efficient use of resources and anticipating potential roadblocks.
  • Oversee key projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines, driving progress with a sense of urgency.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness, implementing solutions quickly and decisively.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials for executive meetings and board meetings.
  • Attend and facilitate meetings, capturing key action items and ensuring follow-up.
  • Manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to the CEO and leadership team.
  • Manage executive level communication.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, investors, and partners.
  • Represent the CEO and the company at external events and meetings.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Lead special projects as assigned by the CEO, which may include due diligence, market research, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with fundraising activities and investor relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced technology environment, ideally in a strategic or operational role.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Experience with financial modeling and analysis is a strong plus.
