About the position

The Chief of Staff role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is designed to support the Hybrid Cloud Chief Technology organization by acting as a strategic advisor and confidant. This position involves overseeing project plans, maintaining organizational frameworks, streamlining processes, and supporting long-term goal planning. The Chief of Staff will also represent the organization in executive meetings and drive business plan recommendations based on analytical insights. This hybrid role requires a blend of leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative culture within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor and confidant to the Hybrid Cloud Chief Technology organization.
  • Maintain Hybrid Cloud Chief Technology organization OKR framework and ensure alignment with other HPE OKRs.
  • Streamline key processes such as budgeting and investment requests.
  • Develop compelling presentations for QBRs and executive meetings.
  • Support long-range goal planning and translate aspirational outcomes into near-term milestones.
  • Plan weekly leadership meeting agendas and team off-sites.
  • Act on behalf of the Hybrid Cloud Chief Technology organization in cross-functional meetings.
  • Provide honest feedback to leadership as an advisor and thought partner.
  • Identify new opportunities with client business leaders and develop comprehensive business plans.
  • Construct innovative statistical and financial models to analyze business performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in an analytical role at a fast-paced startup or public company, or prior Chief of Staff experience.
  • Background in GTM operations, project management, change management, and consulting is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a SaaS environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to draw insights from unorganized information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ownership mentality with a strong desire to make the entire team successful.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in business or a related field.
