About The Position

The Chief Systems Engineering position is a leadership role responsible for overseeing systems engineering teams in the design, development, evaluation, and modification of end-to-end systems projects and systems-oriented products throughout their entire life cycle. This role supports engineering synchronization across the Department of Defense's strategic and theater missile defense enterprise, which is a significant program with a budget exceeding $1 billion.

Requirements

• Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Extensive experience in systems engineering and integration.
• Proven leadership skills in managing engineering teams and projects.
• Strong understanding of defense systems and missile defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering teams to design, develop, evaluate, and modify end-to-end systems projects.

• Develop quantifiable requirements, descriptions, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics.
• Ensure compliance of requirements with relevant standards and regulations.
