About the position

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our software development and cloud operations teams. The CTO will be responsible for overseeing the development of our SaaS, desktop, and mobile products, ensuring high performance and efficiency in our engineering processes. This role is critical as we continue to grow our revenue and expand our market presence in inventory and warehouse management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the software development and cloud operations teams.
• Manage a world-class engineering team of 60+ people.
• Drive the development of SaaS products using Scrum/agile methods.
• Participate in the due diligence process for M&A activities.
• Build and deploy SaaS applications in the public cloud (AWS).
• Implement a DevOps-testing-performance strategy throughout the organization.
• Ensure high-performance development teams are maintained, both co-located and remote/off-shore.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing a large engineering team in a start-up environment.
• 15+ years of hands-on product development experience, particularly with SaaS products.
• Experience managing multi-function, multi-level organizations.
• Deep expertise in building and deploying SaaS applications in the public cloud (AWS).
• Experience with cloud-native RDBMS and web application frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Knowledge of container technology (K8s, Amazon ECS) and mobile application development.
• Experience in a Java tech stack.
• Experience working in a private equity-owned company.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
