About the position

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead the software development and cloud operations teams responsible for creating and managing SaaS, desktop, and mobile products. This role is pivotal in driving the company's technology strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The CTO will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in the company's growth and innovation in the inventory and warehouse management software market.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the software development and cloud operations teams.
• Drive the technology strategy for SaaS, desktop, and mobile products.
• Manage a world-class engineering team of 60+ people.
• Ensure efficient DevOps-testing-performance strategies are implemented throughout the organization.
• Participate in the due diligence process for M&A activities.
• Build and manage high-performance development teams, both co-located and remote/off-shore.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing a world-class engineering team in a rapidly growing start-up environment.
• 15+ years of hands-on product development experience, particularly in building SaaS products using Scrum/agile methods.
• Experience managing a multi-function, multi-level organization.
• Deep expertise in building and deploying SaaS applications in the public cloud (AWS).
• Experience with cloud-native RDBMS, web application frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue), and container technology (e.g., K8s, Amazon ECS).
• Experience in a Java tech stack.
• Experience working in a PE-owned company.
• BSCS or related degree.
