About the position

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Long ISD is responsible for overseeing the technology department within the school district. This role involves managing technology infrastructure, ensuring effective implementation of technology policies, and leading the development of technology applications to support educational goals. The CTO will coordinate district functions related to technology and manage personnel and budgets effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technology department and its operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Master's degree in Supervision or Leadership preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in supervision and management of an information systems department for a large organization.
• Knowledge of computer networks, hardware, and software applications.
• Knowledge of computer applications development and implementation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
